Gorditas el Güero

Located in the Mercado de la VI Sección de Aragón, Gorditas el Güero is a spot with over 40 years of history and a true neighborhood pride.

The stars here are the "gorditas ahogadas" (drenched in red salsa). With a masterful technique, each gordita is opened just as it hits the salsa, ensuring it’s perfectly soaked inside and out—a traditional, hand-crafted process that defines their signature flavor.

Comidista Tip: If you're a cheese lover, definitely order yours with cheese. Also, play it safe and start with at least 3 gorditas; they go fast!

Open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Be prepared: during peak hours, the wait is a testament to how good they are.
